If it’s not lost . . .
A recent blog post containing an article about the current Carpathia wreck dive has had an update. The newspaper interview with a crewman indicates the ship’s bell and loving cup are high on the priority list for recovery. Well, they may find the ship’s bell, but apparently the famous cup presented to Captain Rostron by the intrepid Molly Brown is safely ensconced in the Merseyside Museum. Maybe someone should send a wireless quick . . . .?

Hi,
I know the Loving Cup is at the Merseyside Maritime Museum as I saw it myself when I was examining the papers of Captain Lord/Leslie Harrison at the start of August. I have sent a message to the team via their youtube.com webpage, and got a reply that it would be passed onto the expedition leader Jeff Cornish. So far no other news, except that the expedition is/was stranded in the Scilly Islands due to bad weather.
With best wishes
